Car: Take the A 40 out of London. As you pass the sign for Buckinghamshire you will see the A 40 is the left hand lane. Follow signs to A40 to Denham. At the first roundabout, under the flyover you will see brown signs to Denham Country Park. Follow these, taking Denham Court Road. The Car Park is about 1 mile down this small road. Parking is £3.50 for the day, payable by coins (no change given) or card. The Car Park closes at 4 pm.

Train: unfortunately there are no trains to Denham on Sunday 18th due to works on the beastly HS 2

Route: 

am along the Colne Valley, over fields to Bayhurst Wood. Hillingdon trail to Harefield with its church and Australian war cemetery. Reservoirs, fields, woods; gentle hills, some stiles. We hope the autumn colours will last. It was a bit wet underfoot on the recce but if it doesn’t rain this week shouldn’t be too wet and muddy. pm return along the Colne Valley.
