NDW –Westhumble-Merstham

These Friday walks are not for wimps and no one could ever accuse the LWG of being that This stage of the North Downs Way involved 10- 14 miles walking (it depended whose App you consulted) and a climb equivalent to 83 flights of stairs We all completed the climb but some opted out at lunch time which occurred about 3pm in a service station!! The scheduled pubs were all closed for refurbishment And nasty mud compounded the challenge
14 set out and 8 regrouped at Merstham station feeling well exercised and able to make a happy way home

am we cross the stepping stones over the river Mole and then climb Boxhill. We follow the Pilgrims Way until we go to Mogador for lunch.
